Thinking of Picking This Up Again

So I'm thinking of picking up Skyrim again, what the easiest way to get back into it, I was running a bunch of mods that probably need updating, what's the best way to do this, just do a fresh install and pick up new mods or try and update and get all my old mods working?

And for restarting what are the mods you guys think I have to have?

Well Max and I have a thread going on awesome mods we turn up. I would say it depends on how many mods you had running and what they changed. If you core meshes and textures all out the window, a fresh start would be your best bet. I would keep the saves. Unless there is a game breaking file missing, Simply loading, saying yea sure don't care what's missing, and save has worked for me. But that's mostly because I knew what was going to be lost.

If you had alot of steam workshop mods, they should auto update.

If you have been out for awhile, I would think about the DLC they are all worth the money, and Dragonborn is gonna stomp ballz.

That may also be another reason to refresh, some of your mods may not work with the latest version or DLC.

You should also be able to see what mods your friends have DL from the workshop.
