As big an AVP fan as I am, I'm waiting to see how well the game does before picked up the DLC. By March we should have a good idea of how much attention the game is going to get here at TPG. Glad I didn't pick up the extra maps for AVP 2010.Dispatch the DooM

Re: GearBox pulling an EA with A:CM
EA put out shit content that alienated their community that way where as Gearbox put out awesome content that way to the much appreciation of their community. I would buy any Gearbox product (partly because they gave me a life size replica of a face hugger in a swag bag! What can I say I am bribed :P.) because I know they care about their community and push out great content like their expansions to BL2 I haven't played them yet but they look awesome and I haven't heard a bad thing yet about them!

Re: GearBox pulling an EA with A:CM
I happily paid $ for premium bf3, but honestly can't say the last few map packs were worthy. I loved bf2 and the maps they used were awesome. Bf3+rtk were good buy honestly they seemed to not care after getting the dough. I'll pay full price for each skyrim dlc because I know they are amazing and deserve the time. Borderland 2 same thing (although I have yet to actually play any of the dlcs truly I know I will and they'll rock). So you see games got bigger, I prefer this to half life's promises of sequels that never appear...
