Thread: Aliens Colonial Marines falls flat on its face.

Really want to try out the Co op, just finished the campaign. The story strats out great and they really tried to work the game in with the flow of the movies, but it does spiral out of control at the end and then just kinda like end... A little bit more of a drop off then prometheus. Remeber how that movie was suppose to answer our questions but we only found out we need to watch the 2nd movie. It's a bit like that, only right when things get foggy and you want to see how it all fits together. Thank you for playing.

They are however, patching the game in a few days.

I have a couple friends who work at Gearbox, even they said they had to rush to hit their deadlines and that not everyone was satisfied with the result. They won't tell me if they're still working on certain issues, but she said, "we'll find out after the game comes out", so it sounds like a "yes".

I would hope so, with whats rolling around the web right now, they are likely to only see sale from suckers, like me, who pre-ordered and die hard fans, not many of us left.

The game is certainly worth $25, I don't regret $50 but with what I know now, I would wait until $25.

After what ranger said, I'm feeling more like they did push this one out to early. The best way I can put for multiplayr, is still in beta. In just doesn't feel polished. It seems raw, a bit like PR game play compaired to BF3. DayZ to L4D. Morrowind to Skyrim.

I'm glad I only paid $37.50, but still... The preorder discount just wasn't worth it. I am going to play through the single player first before trying to get into the multiplayer stuff.

Shame. I really hoped this one was going to be great. Even if they patch it, at this point the damage has already been done.
