    What is it?

Natural Selection 2 is a Multiplayer FPS with RTS elements. You play as either the Aliens or Marines, both with different styles of play to them. Marines obviously use guns, while Aliens prefer Melee damage. The RTS elements come in when your the Commander. You have to drop resource towers for your team to build, as well as upgrade structures and other things. Marine structures are built by Marines, while Alien structures are grown. The objective of the game is to destroying the opposing teams Command structures (Command Chairs for Marines, Hives for Aliens.) Commanders can purchase upgrades for their fellow teammates to use to help them achieve victory.

    How is it?

I think it's a ton of fun. The community here is really top notch, and I've never ever had to worry about my team not working together. It just comes naturally in this game. This has been the only game I've played for a long time that I can bear playing for hours on end.

    Who's Playing?

Mostly just me and Frag. Noobie hops on every now and then. But not having many TPGers is not really that bad, because everyone I've played with knows to work as a team.

    Playstyle?

I like to think of it as a mixture of Counter Strikes fast action gameplay mixed with Battlefields objective based gameplay. You're going to do a lot of running around in this game, shooting, biting, whatever in cramped conditions. Like in Counterstrike, it's really fast paced and requires some pretty quick thinking to stay ahead at some points. And like in Battlefield, you need to control parts of the map for resources and other benefits. It's even got a splash of Starcraft with the RTS elements and the way you can only build Alien structures on infestation.

I've played a few times. Time is my largest hurdle atm as RL has become busier and more hectic lately.

I'm scouting new titles to pick up. I'm waiting for work to finally decide where I'm going to end up before I look into a second job. These past few weeks, I find myself sitting around with my thumb up my ass. Don't really feel the drive to hop into what games I have.

Tmi....but NS2 is fun. I've enjoyed the times I've played.
