Thread: Marvel Heroes

Anyone get a chance to try this game out? They have an open beta weekend going on for IGN members. It's a free-to-play action RPG MMORPG. Kind of a mouthful but basically it's Diablo transformed into the Marvel universe and instead of it just being you and your friends, others can join in. Although, most boss fights are instanced.

Now I'm not a big comic book geek by any means. I haven't read a comic book since I was 10, but it's pretty damn fun running around as Punisher blowing stuff up. I can see myself playing this game for a bit, but ultimately hanging up my hat like I did with D3. It will get old after a while. I'm OK with this since it's free to play, obviously they gotta make money somehow, so not every hero will be available. There's a chance to get a hero unlock dropped in game, otherwise you gotta pay for them.

Is the game that slanted top down that all the SS look like? I wish marvel games would stop doing that.
