Teach me how to Morrowind
So I just figured out that my netbook can run Morrowind, but I need some help with it, see the only Elder Scrolls game I've really played much of has been Skyrim, and Morrowind seems so different I need like a guide on it for noobs used to newer games, or mods or something. The only thing is, I don't really want any improved graphics mods, as I don't think my netbook would be able to handle them.

Re: Teach me how to Morrowind
What about Morrowind do you find to be troubling? Skyrim might be a bit more blatant about plodding you along in the direction of the main quest, but Morrowind isn't that much different. Explore everything you can and more importantly talk to all of the NPCs.

Re: Teach me how to Morrowind
It uses growth rate attributes. This means that the more you jump, the higher you jump. Every attribute has a leveling system and they can grow as you use them. This includes attacking via small arms, bows, and all other forms of weapons.
I remember my morrowind days... I would leave my game up and have an auto run system setup, before you know it my running skill was pretty damn high. Same goes for jumping, swimming...etc..

Re: Teach me how to Morrowind
Played a bit more, found the jump button(really e for jump and space for e, what are these default controls?) getting into the grove of saving every time before I open a door cause no autosave. There's one thing that is really bugging me right now though, what is this combat system of wave swords at each other and once in a blue moon they'll connect, I know the Elder Scrolls games aren't known for their combat but still this is really bad.

Morrowind:Official Plug-ins - UESPWiki
All the official plug ins are good, and the expantions are great.
Tamriel Rebuilt
This is a massive expantion that adds the mainland or the real Region that is known as Morrowind. Comes with new lands, beasts, quests, guilds, pretty much a double down on the game content. So what would take up 300 hours of your life will not require 600.Dispatch the DooM

Re: Teach me how to Morrowind
So I've played a bit more, I'm sort of liking the having to find things myself.
Couple questions though:
What is up with these Fighters Guild Quests, I've gotten two go and get something from someone quests that haven't involved punching things at all.
Go I get a horse ever?
Where is this Ebonwhatever place the guy I need to report the Dark Brotherhood trying to kill me?
