Thread: Dota 2 clunky?

I play a lot of league of legends, and recently I decided to give Dota 2 a shot because I see all my friends on TPG play it... but man does this game seem clunky to me. I like the champions and I like a lot of things about the game, but it just seems really clunky to me. The movement and actions are slightly delayed and its really irritating. Is it just my computer, or is the game designed that way? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I definitely dont have a bad computer, so I'm not sure if thats what the problem is.

Make sure vsync isnt on, it can cause a serious delay time between input and when the game reacts...

Tablet-

Check your ping in-game with the -ping command in the text window. It happens when I have a high ping but other than that it is fairly smooth.

I am not sure how the servers are set up but, it seems that if the first player is having issues or a slow connection it makes everyone else slow. I don't know if it is hosted but the first chars or not like they used to be or they are dedicated servers.

mostly I think whats throwing me off is the turn-around time and its hard to last hit
