I'm very tempted still, between it and Prison Architect though (even though PA goes on sale a good bit). Rust due to TPG people playing, PA due to being my type of game =/

For those who get the game and want to join in the "shenanigans" we (Scott, Demon, AdmRazor, and Soviet when he isn't itchign for a 200 pop server) are on a server called Valhalla which sits between 5 and 20 players. 20 players does not seem like much but when you are trying to build a somewhat secure place to store your loot and yourself from those other players 20 is quite a bit. Oh and when you log off the server your character remains in game and can be killed then looted.

I'm not sure, but I think it was already in a flash sale, or a daily deal during the first few days of the sale. That doesn't mean it might not pop up again.

I didn't really pay much attention to it because I didn't know what it was, at first.

Yeah, $20 isn't too outrageous for a game everyone is playing. I think I'll just grab it

Is Valhalla the exact name of the server? The server list is pretty long and there is no way to sort it or search by a keyword so right now its a pain in the ass to find...

The servers got hit by a DDOS attack, see comment by dev here Rust «, which reset a bunch of server. Valhalla has not come back up yet and it was difficult to get into a server tonight but that should be settled by now.

I played on an official server for a bit to get the hang of it. Just a bunch of troll bandits running around killing each other so not worth going on until we can get a server that we can all play on.

As cheap as I am, I think I got my 20 bucks worth. Already clocked 24 hours. And you have good times with friends.

Then you with a group its almost like playing warcraft. You need wood, stone, metal ore, and you have to upgrade your base of operations.
