Yes, it's very much like stalker, but with craftable tools and homes.

So a co worker asks while standing at the water cooler, "What games you playing now?". Not that this guy is actually interested, but i appreciated the effort. As not to get all technical with the survival game thing pointing out how important it is to stay alive, i thought about how to simplify it so a non gamer could understand the enjoyment. So i asked him, "Remember when you were a kid and you and your friends would gather up all the scrap lumber and nails in your dads garage and head out into the woods and build a fort? And then some of your buddies would build their own fort and you guys would see who had the better fort?". He smiles and says "Yeah!". So i said, "Its kinda like that except with grownups."

No point in building a fort if it isn't attacked!
