Thread: New DayZ Cities...

So THATriggerHappy and I had an epic adventure to the new cities that ended in disaster



A few days ago I came upon one of the new cities that I hadn't really heard much about. I was astonished to see high-rise buildings peeking over the tops of the trees in the distance and knew I just had to check it out.



I must say the game, even in its alpha state really does look incredible.



You can see everything from the tops of these buildings. From the east-most buildings you can see all of cherno, from the westmost, all of Balota Airfields. It's like a sniper's dreamworld. (FYI, every room you see in every window is enterable and eligible for loot spawns. I am thoroughly impressed)



Anyhow, I took Trigger to see it and he fell off the roof to his death. In an attempt to guard his body so he could recover all of his gear (which we spent 2 days collecting) I aimed over his body to watch for other players and magically fell to my death right next to him.



We both ran as fast as we could to get to our bodies before someone else did...and the server restarted causing us to lose everything and rage-quit.

yea i was pretty upset to say the least. had an m4 with a red dot everything in pristine condition 3 coupled 30 round mags and a full 300 round box of ammo. and i didnt even fall off the roof i feel out a window while running down the stairs too fast or something idk wtf.
