Well I decided today to organize my games into groups using the category functionality that Steam has. It's a rather daunting task to assign each game manually one-at-a-time. I wish there was a way to group highlight and drag into the category you want (if there is, then I'm an idiot). It might also be nice to allow the game to be placed into multiple categories. Say I had a TPG category where I'd put L4D, TF2, DoD, CSGO, and BF4 into, but those would also show up in the other categories like FPS or whatnot. As soon as you check a new category for it, it removes the game from the others.
Anywho, this is how I grouped mine; anybody else group their games? what categories did you make/organize by? Played/Unplayed? Multiplayer/SinglePlayer?

I have by gameplay, or a guess of what I think it fits into (some would probably raise a few eyebrows but meh). It took a good while to get it done when I first did it, but it makes it easier now. They only show up in one category, so I'll usually put heavily played (or TPG games) in my favorites to find them easier, since it's at the top.
