Titianfall Alpha Footage

Getting pretty hyped for this game. If you don't already know you'll be a ground troop and after some time you'll be able to deploy a titan (giant battle armor). It will be 6v6 with AI and objectives within the maps that change. So it's highly doubtful that PC will see community hosted servers. Still looks like a lot fun but keep in mind EA is tied to this game. So I'd give it week after release before spending money on it.

Preordered. More excited for this than I was for bf4 release. Looks like something new, different and above all a ton of fun.

I was going to say "Wow, can a game look any more like a Call of Duty clone?", then I heard those guys saying that it was made by the original studio for Call of Duty who broke off from IW and Treyarch. It looks like it has solid mechanics to it already though, and seems to be fairly fresh. I'll keep my eye on it, but just watching it makes me feel like it'll be a Call of Duty clone.

I don't know if it will change much but right now, there is almost too much shit on the screen.

were those videos of console footage? or PC?

I'm sure the mechanics are great and the gameplay is solid, those guys zipping around in the jetpacks looks like alot of fun and so does controlling the titans.

But visually this game looks absolutely disgusting. The color-palette is atrocious, the on-screen text is obnoxiously huge and bland, and the environments are so dull looking it hurts. The guys behind this one have an excellent track record and I really hope this game ends up doing well, but it looks like they took CoD's art direction and made it worse.

Maybe actually playing it would change my mind. I just can't help but feel disgusted looking at it. This trend that call of Duty started of picking the ugliest lack of color and then dulling the entire screen with it to make it look dingy and dirty just kills the art direction of a seemingly awesome shooter. Does nobody like color anymore?

Even on XBOX Crysis2 managed to pull off the rundown city look and still add some color to it
