Re: Is it Day Z meets Mine craft?
Its beauty is in its simplicity, in the beginning. DayZ comes down to, kill zeds, find stuff, kill or avoid players and zeds while finding more stuff, stay alive. This has that, but now you easily craft a homestead with that stuff you found, and now you have to defend it. It stimulates creativity and puts a more substantial claim to your part of the map. Sort of like how we OWNED the NE Airfield in DayZero, but imagine we built our own Hotel international with the loot we scored, right at the top of Ostry Hill for all to see! DayZ had well hidden tents, this has well hidden shacks to prominent fortresses... all which can be raided, but are more or less difficult relative to design. Note i said "design", not size. And its a little more PvP driven in that there are ways to quickly get back into the action if thats what your looking for. But over all, any way i look at it, its not a Solo bandit kind of game unless said bandit is essentially just trolling fresh spawns with an M4 he found in a random crate.
BUT, since this is still in alpha, and using only 1/10th of the map.... that might all change.Kraker Jak liked this post
