Re: Base Raiding
I find this....
AND THIS!
To be quite hysterical.
Maybe I just need to leave the TPG rust servers. Go back to BMRF where people understand this is a game of find, build, hoard, get shit stolen, rinse and repeat, steal other peoples shit...become someone you don't want to fuck with. If you all want me to hold your hand, you are sadly mistaken.

Re: Base Raiding
What's even more funny, is I have not even said I was the one who raided all the shit...and even if I did, I wasn't alone lol....
Jesus fucking christ guys....it's a god damn video game.
And war, the fact that you do not buy games because I play them? Really dude? I have that much impact on your life? Like, seriously? lol

Re: Base Raiding
I have heard from several different people that they are hoarding 40-80 C4....
There's little to no reason to collect anything, and we are going to be spending a lot of time pissing each other off. I logged seeing this thread to find my house was broken into, random stuff taken, and sleeping bag broken, and for some reason my place repairedDispatch the DooM

Re: Base Raiding
I'm not gonna say told you so cause I didn't voice it at the kick off. But for us to host a server, was a handful of problems I personally wasn't thrilled to get into.
Kanati, if you would have joined when there was a TPG community on BMRF you would have enjoyed yourself much more. There was a group living together keeping a place safe in shifts, not official, but there was a number of different people joining at different times to protect and resupply your base.
What we have here is a dog eat dog game from a group of dogs that use to run in a pack.

Re: Base Raiding
....remembering back when Krom and i started on our first populated server. After about 3 days we were hit.... completely fucking cleaned out, even the coal out of the fireplace. Reclaimed the place, made some changes, re-stocked...... got hit again. Base raiding is all part of the game. Aggravating and frustrating, even demoralizing, but unavoidable. Getting raided helps you build better... and smarter.
On BMRF, Bucket and i were cooking some metal one day in a well stocked, but poorly secured base. We happened to be there when it got scouted. Immediately we began building materials to build another base, called in reinforcements and within a couple of hours, we relocated everything to a hidden and more secure location... even though our previous spot had gone untouched for quite some time. Needless to say, less than 24hrs later, the old base was hit. One thing is for sure in this game, once you're base has been spotted, it will be a target. The best things i can think of to reduce the loss is a fall back base and group affiliation. Either one can get you back on your killing spree in minutes.Kraker Jak liked this post
