Re: Starter kits
I like the idea of a starter kit as a noob. I ran around for about 10mins and was confused so I intend to play again when people are online. But in that 10 mins I was eaten by a creature (in the dark). Geek did put me in a base somewhere with gear but I'll probably lose it doing something stupid.

Re: Starter kits
My thoughts are we might bring folks back and some new ones in moving away from the main stream rags to riches game play. With everyone having a weapon and a basic pack to build a home, folks with less time to invest can still join in. I should have put in a 5th vote for the ultra starter kits, packing mp5s, foundations and other building materials something close to the "Should Putin Invade Rust" thread.

Re: Starter kits
I completely agree with this generally for games.. but when we are talking about getting population into the TPG Rust server we might need to bend our philosophy. Being eaten in the dark and dying from hunger can be fun while learning the game.. but having no players on the server is never fun.
