I bought the 60 dollar one, cause EQ was my first online game and loved it.

What did I get for 60 bucks? A pretty world with tool crafting and the ability to build just about anything you can think of.

Of course, I'm no artisan, so I probably wasted that cash, but I still like to log in and mess around. My (and my boy's) claim is on adventure server, Timber server. I'm a double claim NE of the spire. There's a large chest with tools and stuff for anyone that needs them.

My first mmorpg was Asheron's Call. Played the hell out of that game for about 5 years. Since then the only mmo that has really caught and held my interest has been Eve. I think it has to do with the fact that Eve is difficult to master and the casting and crafting system is AC was also challenging. There was actual trial and error learning on which components were necessary to learn a spell. Was pretty cool.

I don't even want to think about how many hours I spent becoming a master fletcher in AC (or was it AC2? can't remember... played both).

Never got into AC2. I was firmly in the camp of make AC2 AC1 with an updated engine.

AC1 was boring as all get out with the repetitive gameplay. 2 improved on that some. 3 (the one in set in the Americas)...was worse than 1 in that regard. Climbing took no thought or skill. If you ever took damage in combat with the slowmo quick time events for EVERY time you were attacked, then Hello Kitty Island would be too difficult for you.
