H1Z1 Players Post Here!
So this game is out pretty soon (undetermined date). They are basically making it a Free To Play which is great, apparently it'll be like planetside. The game is look pretty damn good so far. Post here if you'll be playing it, apparently theres an early access if you pay, I wonder how many people will be down with that.
For those who are completely in the dark heres the lowdown.
H1Z1 is a zombie survival game with large scale worlds (1000 ppl servers). You can loot, set zombies on fire, barracade your homes and build. The game is built on the Forgelight engine (planetside 2), so it runs smoothly on most pcs. Sounds and looks amazing, day z on crack!

I predict I will install this game a few days, or maybe a week, after it launches to try to play with TPGers. You guys will have already figured it all out, made a base/house/fort, and will tell me to go read the manual. I will promptly uninstall, and say "screw you guys, I'm going home" just so it will be exactly like my DayZ experience.

Lol I remember starting off in day z. I think it was krom said "run around and get used to zombies." I died 20-30 times before I made it out of a city alive. Then I had to get a weapon. This took forever and I ended up finding an Enfield in a barn then I died from thirst. Spawned back in, did it all again and figured out how to eat and drink. Got shot by a random dude in cherno. Ended up being scared shitless of cities and lived in the countryside. It was a few weeks before I found a chopper crash, another week in I figured out cars could be fixed and I spent hours repairing a small red hatchback. Drove it and destroyed it on some Random rock. Died. Spawned in and found a friendly guy who was helpful - showed me how to avoid zeds and how not to approach cities. He was extremely helpful as he got shot by a bandit on the hospital in electro, he allowed me to escape North. Day z was a hard game to teach too, as it's a very organic personal experience. I play mainly on a pvp server, occasionally I play on a normal server but I find the time required to play that game is amazing. Took Geek and Steggy way less time to learn.

I'll be checking it out. If it takes hours to play, which from what I've read/watched it will, I doubt I'll stick around long. Going to take something of epic proportions to get me to pull all nighters multiple days in a row like DayZ did. Same vibe different look isn't going to cut it.
