Heros and Generals

Anyone played this yet? I have a soft spot for FPS\RTS games and just curious if its worth playing.

For those who don't know, what I gather from the store page is, Hero's and Generals is a F2P MMOFPS game where you can choose to be a Hero on the battlefield or a General who assists by supplying assets and whatnot onto the battlefield.

The premise sounds nice, but I'm also skeptical. While I do love FPS\RTS games, no one seems to have made one that's actually any good since Battlezone 2.

Well... I played it years ago.

I understand that it has changed dramatically since then, but it is not the RTS/FPS hybrid you are thinking of.

The RTS portion involves a 'campaign map'. You move resources around on that map, and that decides where battles happen, what units are available to each side & the spawn ticket amount.

But Guyver I thought you didn't play games like that :P.

Joking aside I really liked this game when I played it. That was a long time ago though and I would totally pick this game up again if I knew people here would be playing it.
