Got it! Forgot entirely that it was coming out today.

(Also got another game that was released today called Starion Tactics... 4x turn based strategy.)

Played two games against a buddy last night and it wasn't even close the first game so I tried to handicap myself by only building a bot factory... And only using the bomb bots... Those things are NASTY when you send 50-100 of them into a base.

He snuck up on me when I wasn't paying attention and hit me with medium range artilery that took out a lot of metal extractors and power plants and my damn nuke silo. Set me back quite a bit. And the planet was kind of scarce with metal so I broke my handicap and built an air factory. Started harrassing him with bomb bots and bombers which made him fall back a bit. But he was mounting a rather large offensive occasionally so my bomb bots were wasted mostly taking out his invaders. Started building some artillery bots too at that point... And another nuke silo. Put two advanced contruction bots on the silo to help it build missiles. Held him off with insufficient power and metal long enough to put a nuke on his base taking out most of his major structures. Then I just harrassed him until I had another nuke... nuked more shit... sent bomb bots in to find his commander and a third nuke sealed the deal.

I have so missed Annihilation.
