Re: PC Gamer H1Z1 server access keys
I agree! I raided one today, while everyone was fighting over it I walked up behind the most geared guy and killed him... He was shouting "I paid for that drop" when I killed him... Made off with most of his gear, which would probably take a day of playing to accumulate. Lost it all later to a lameass hacker.
Oh and that's another thing! Hackers can teleport and kill you, so literally you can spend real dollars to get hacked.SmokenScion liked this post

Yeah if I was that guy yelling that he paid for the drop and some taff sheep shagger snuck up behind me and took all my stuff that would be the last time I played.

Re: PC Gamer H1Z1 server access keys
Every single game of this type that I've seen has gone like this:
1) everyone hops on and is all ooh ahh zombies... scary... run run run!
2) said players die a lot and then learn to arm themselves...
3) zombies are no longer a real threat
4) game turns into pvp massacre
5) game dies because it's main focus is no longer viable
If I were designing a zombie survival game it would, like an MMO have leveled zones. Better loot can be found but it has to be gotten from much more dangerous areas. Zombies would be appropriate to those levels. You want top of the line body armor and a SCAR? You might be able to find that but you'll need to head into this:
Want to head to the airport and see if you can get your hands on a working apache?
Maybe a few dozen of those are hanging around in addition to normal zombies.
Zombies in a zombie survival game NEED TO BE THE FOCUS. PVP might be awesome and I love me some pvp more than anything. But if the game loses it's focus and zombies are seen as no more than a minor annoyance at best, then that's not the game it wanted to be to begin with. Big gun fight pvp action going on? Game should spawn 40 or 50 zombies to check out what's going on. Suddenly pvp is a lot more... interesting.
One of these days someone might make a real zombie survival game but I have yet to see it.

Re: PC Gamer H1Z1 server access keys
Way to early to say p2w or not at all with the current air drop system. The few Ive made it too were blood baths of bambies fighting for it. Even worse you call in an air drop, get the gear and die to a bug or hacker. Money gone. I wont be buying any air drops.
Zombies are zero threat, just an nusence. They need to be feared. Firing a weapon in town should cause a horde coming.
Loot is a work in progress. Guns are hard to come by so far.
Crafting is great. Only imagine it getting better over time.
Groups rule period. 5 of armed with some bows and 2 pistols. We were feared and fearful of others. Most would avoid us, yet we ramained freindly to all until threatened. We stayed close in towns but retreating to save face.
But in the end 3 of us died instantly to only hearing punches. Our forth escaped not hearing a gun shot apon our deaths...hacks.
I enjoy playing.
