This is correct. It is important to mention that if a small well equipped population gets control they can basically dominate the drop zones to get the loot. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I bet there will be hordes of Bambi's with stick killing fully decked out players for the air drops. There are only so many bullets after all.

Re: PC Gamer H1Z1 server access keys
~hour and 1/2 in I like it so far. Some stuff is easier than in DayZ (the only game I can compare it to) some more difficult. Here are some things I've experienced/thought about:
-Zombies take several hits with a hatchet to kill and will definitely be a problem in groups. So far zombies do not seem to chase you forever as in DayZ.
-health regens based on your hydration/food as far as I can tell but keeping up with food and especially water has been the biggest struggle so far. Apparently you can boil water to purify it with a campfire but I haven't been able to light one yet.
-Berries can be scavenged from some bushes and do a tiny bit to help with hydration/hunger
-Wolves are everywhere but are not terribly hard to kill
-The 'discovery' option lets you try to discover recipes with different things you find which is pretty neat.
-I have found 3 guns so far, none with ammo.
-Lonely. Big map from what I have seen which probably isn't much. I only saw one other player but I'm not sure how many people were on the server I was on either.
-Teamplay will be the best way to get ahead. I'm basically just consuming all the food and water (purified, stagnant, and dirty) I find without ever really gaining an advantage. Throw in several bad encounters with zombies and I'm not doing so hot as I haven't found anything to boost my health. Two people could probably scavenge separate buildings and not have to worry too much about conflict (at least so far).
-Until people learn the map, find a map in-game, etc. I think you will likely have to rely on landmarks to meet up with people.Last edited by PowerCock; 01-15-15 at 11:53 PM.

Re: PC Gamer H1Z1 server access keys
Sorry to burst anyones bubble but this game is going to fail. Even though the devs said they would not have any pay to win features they lied and it does.
