Anyone else playing in the closed beta atm?

Gwent started as a mini-game in The Witcher 3. The mini-game became popular enough that CD Projekt Red has made a digital TCG.

It's a thing now? No way! I love playing it in witcher 3, though my decks still kinda suck

I do believe White meant to say that Gwent had a mini game called The Witcher 3.

So far:

• Leveling is tied solely to wins.
• There's a dusting feature like in Hearthstone called milling, but you have to level up to unlock it.
• There's no matchmaking system so you can and will get matched up against players with higher levels and much better decks.
• Leveling up gives extra rewards to help get more cards, but given the above...
• You only get rewards for losing if your opponents sends you a Good Game.
• The UI is alright. It's not fantastic nor is it horrible.
• That being said, DO NOT use anything but High Textures. Dear lord do they look like shit. If you need extra FPS, lower the resolution.

Right now, I'm finding it difficult to find the motivation to test at all. With my losses, I had no options in the starter deck I used for counter play most of the time. I could spend money to get cards, but then I'd pay money on a Beta. If CDPR adds matchmaking, I think a lot will improve. I do think the game is enjoyable, and I do like what I've seen so far. Given CDPR's track record, I'm hopeful.

I'm gonna have to check this out. I'm 36 hours into witcher 3 and I finally have a decent enough deck to win fairly regularly

Yeah, pretty much every issue I had, they fixed.
