Crysis new GPU from Nvidia and not what it cracked up to be....

So far , it would seem the new version of DX 10 .1 which is issuing with VISTA service pack 1 in 2008 is going to have a card that will run it ship same time as Crysis , and further more the article states that the current builds of the game show less detail than CRYTEK promised for the player models , seems they bit off more than they could chew to make a playable game . Nov. 16th is when the hype puts up or shuts up!

I always considered FarCry to be a tech demo more than an actual game, though I hear some people had fun with it. I regard Crysis in much the same manner.

At least DX10, when it comes of age, will further prove the PC's dominance over the console as a gaming platform.

More or less... Half life 2 was a tech demo too, and it turned out pretty well.

The article mentions communications and teamplay, and how the lack of it during the press review lowered the experience.

The ultimate objective was to capture the other camp’s HQ. Without headsets for communication, it was impossible for either team to establish much of a coordinated effort, so the game quickly devolved into something of a free-for-all. I don’t think this is a flaw in the game, only the conditions in which we were playing.

Those guys would love themselves some TTP.

OK so... im just gonna try and start one of these things, worked great on some other forums i was at : P fun when your bored or soemthing. Basically you put 3 arrows the top replying to the person above yous down statement the middle arrow some random thing related to you and down a random comment about the next person to post.
