Re: LEFT 4 DEAD
not just that.
they are source and HL engine vets....mods....maps.....
hell, what do you think all the damn turtles on tides are for? Turtle Rock is some big shit when it comes to Valve and especially HL/CS related things. And now source is the common engine for all these games......Turtle Rock can do all things.
Left4Dead........will pull me off of 2142.

Re: LEFT 4 DEAD
Small scale? The maps seem generally large, not to mention the whole fact that no run through of the maps will be like the last ones.
The AI director is the biggest excitement for me, a genuine horror experience is one you can't expect... They seem to have mastered the idea.
Thinking about it some more... I don't know how TTP's gonna work with an 8 man server if we host this game.
Will we have multiple instances? Weird.

Re: LEFT 4 DEAD
I check their damn website almost daily. I don't mind waiting....cause I want it to be good!
I would rather them have voip for the survivors though. There is going to be voip for the Zombie side but as far as the updated info there is out...the survivor side is going to have several commo rose options with auto status communications only - no voip.
Who knows...maybe it will add to the "horror" feeling of the game though.
I'm hoping the "feel" of this game gives me nightmares!
And their work with the AI Director should change the industry. No more spawning at the same places over and over, and the game steps up when your playing good or slows down when your a little off your game....genius.
