Re: Operation Flashpoint 2
The first flash Point was one of the best FPS I have ever played up to that time.... Full control of all your units, switching from unit to unit, accomplishing very detail assignments, and an extremely large map (for the time period). If I'm not mistaken, the story line changed depending on your decisions in the game.... that part was cool.
I'm very much looking forward to playing this game, if it's anything like the original Flash Point, then it can't go wrong.

Re: Operation Flashpoint 2
When those videos ended, I came to with drool all over my desk and a sticky mess in my pants.
If they can master the gameplay and AI, like they did in the first Flashpoint, and thats how the graphics will look, then I will play that game like my life depends on it.
I can't wait.

Re: Operation Flashpoint 2
I've been doing a lot of looking into both of the games recently. OFP 2 seems like it's mostly conceptual stuff right now. Their forums has lots of wish lists with great ideas, I hope most of them are implemented.
ArmA 2 will feature improved AI especially at close quarters, more realistic terrain(possibly deformable) and improved building destruction.
I'm looking forward to both games since they will most likely both have similar styles of play but will have different strong points.
I hope they fix the desync issues cause by high player counts. I know OFP 2 plans on limiting the player count to 32 while ArmA 2 lowered the max player count to ~50 players. Not too many games reached 100 players anyways.
