Oi, and I thought abyss was being snippy....

Well, it was a non-serious post, a thing I've done always, but since I'm not allowed according to this policy that was discussed in private, and gives people out infractions without warning (despite this never being a public announcement). But OK.

I do, however, remember an announcement by in the Summer of 2009 about spam, but that was about people basically derailing topics, but not with videos or pictures. Besides, that announcement is not even active.

This policy was made public. It, meaning the more severe actions that needed to be taken regarding spam, was posted in an announcement in the summer-and left up for well over a month. Also, there is a general rule of the forums against spam.

Also, It has been made public. Several times. Every other member understands this policy. There has been a minimal number spam posts. We have had few problems with other members posting spam, (pictures, irrelevant comments, &tc).

The announcement about spam wasnt just about derailing topics, it was about IRRELEVENT posts (Pictures are included). Regardless of the announcement being active of not, it is still a rule and must be adhered to.

If you have any further questions, comments about this infraction and this policy, please PM MNDF.

Right. So it seems both of you are having issues where people are being backchatting dicks.

Let me just say here that, if any of you guys/gal feel the need to (or just want to give me shit to do), you're welcome to simply tell them something along the lines of "if you have issue with my moderation, take it up with MNDF" and send me a PM with everything that's been said between yourself and the member.

I don't consider it "having trouble". Or at least it doesn't really bother me, I've found an effective way to deal with members who complain about infractions - and I don't really think its a big problem when they whine. It's understandable, I do it to when I act like a prick on other forums.
