A possible passing release date?
Recently whilst snooping around on the internet, I've found an interesting steam forum post with some possible evidence pointing to a passing release this coming Friday.
The article referenced evidence found on the microsoft calendar for the coming month in gaming events. The calendar is here: Xbox.com | Calendar of Events - Xbox LIVE Events and Promotions Calendar
Look at the calendar, and notice how this Friday is labeled with, "Left 4 Dead 2." Just, "Left 4 Dead 2" and no title. Since Valve has done a good job of hushing up on the release date of the title, the xbox calendar may have not wanted to reveal this date, or it may have been requested by Valve to not be released.
Another interesting fact: oftentimes game add-ons are announced in the calendar's dates once they are updated. This was the occaison for all three of the DLC packages for Borderlands, and the release date of Call of duty 4's original map pack. This constant might apply to Left 4 Dead 2, indicating the release of the new content.
other information that could support this theory: Notice how on april 1st there is a co-op night for Left 4 Dead 2. oftentimes when new game add-ons are released, co-op nights specifically dedicated to that add-on are released. This also interests me, because usually these events occur several days after the content releases, which would fit the bill for this friday's release.
If this Friday WERE the release date, it would also fit the bill for the, "End of march" release for the add-on, with the release being only 5 or so days from april 1st.
While I'm not 100% sold, there are definitely some questionable signs pointing to a Passing release this Friday. What do you guys think? When the talking ducks enslave us all, we will finally get our happy baskets of pudding.

Have there been more topics on this specific release date, or is this the first time the Friday release date has been proposed? And has this evidence been used? If so, I'm deeply sorry, I searched for it, but couldn't find anything. If not, this thread DOES provide some evidence towards a possible release date.
I think it's safe to assume we're all fans of L4D2 here. While not all of us may be excited about the content, I'm willing to gobble up any new detail about the latest addition to my favorite game series. I hope that one or two other people on this site are as excited as I am.When the talking ducks enslave us all, we will finally get our happy baskets of pudding.

Ah, over the steam forums of course it's all over :P. But people like myself who don't check the steam forums frequently (I googled, "Passing release date" to see if anything was up yet.) Might not see this otherwise. If I weren't an obsessive for this kind of stuff, I would never know about it. Just thought I would let some of you guys know about this.
