I watched until they said "2007 was a great year for games", noticed that Portal/The Orange Box wasn't mentioned alongside greats such as SMG and COD4 (and mediocre but over-hyped games like Halo 3), and hit exit.

If you don't rank Portal/The Orange Box as one of the best games of the year, you're wrong.

And that's not an opinion. It's fucking FACT.

personally I think that the OrangeBox is game of the year. It was easily the bust bundle of games for the price and it introduced something new to the scene 'PORTAL', also it gave people who would have never played these games (console fanboys) a chance to play them.

You know, the rest of the pack is nice, but for all I care, Portal cost me $45. The rest was a tip.

Mario Galaxy and Portal are the two games of the year (console and PC respectively)

I cant believe that 2 people gave halo 3 the game of the year. IMO the entire halo series is over hyped.

COD 4, the orange box, and crysis are all waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then halo.

Ben, The Orange Box was mentioned later on as one of the best games of 2007.

Guys you have to understand Portal isn't really a younger generation game. Halo 3, ten year olds play Halo 3 and younger. They don't play Portal because it's simply just not there type of shoot em up game. Yes, Portal is good, but it's not very appreciated by the younger generation.
