You do realize that this would completely break CS, right? If I remember correctly, nades used to be much more powerful, but they took it out when they realized one nade could eliminate half a team in confined areas. Hell, even now, 3 or 4 nades stacked up is going to kill 5 folks out of double doors (Aztec), or any other places.

As for realism, I'd like to see some ability to move other than walk/run. A gun-down, haul ass sprint could be useful, as well as a peek ability, or sliding into cover.
You're describing half of Day of Defeat gameplay style right there :P

There's no walk, though crouch-walking is nearly silent (similar to how walking in CS is silent except for stairways and drops and such), and you have a gun-down sprint instead. Grenades in DoD are almost invariably fatal if they're nearby, but you can both pick them up and throw them back (grenades must be primed in DoD - they begin ticking immediately after you pull the pin, not after you throw them) or sprint away from them. Shellshock occurs anywhere near an explosion of any kind (grenades or rockets), and even if the grenade isn't fatal, the couple seconds of shellshock often are.

You also have the option of going prone, which allows you to slide forward underneath obstacles or behind cover.

And yes, this is a shameless plug for DoD. DoD is superior! DoD is your one true omnipotent gaming god! Kneel and repent, unhallowed ones! REPENT!

This whole deal made me laugh.
    "I AM BACK"
    Oh Jesus.
    Too funny.
Surely they could've thought of a better name than that.

I don't think it'd break the game as it could be very beneficial to both sides. Take aztec for example. When the Ts actually rush and if the lead runner is quick enough, he too can get an HE out and kill a number of CTs. And you're right, I do think they were more powerful and I was sad when the lowered the damage they did. It would bring a great new challenge to the game I'd think.

As Glock said, DoD has pretty much all the features and it's a great game. For me though, the fact that it is another WWII game and is capture the flag makes it boring and repetitive for me since there are many other WWII just like it out there. And because of that, it seems DoD isn't as popular as it use to be sadly. Hell if they made it with the same features of DoD:S and maybe fixed a few other things (i.e. dumb ass hostages...) then it would be a great new addition to the CS series.

    See, now that's bad ass.
I now trust the asians a little bit more for that.
Do they have a website up?
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Counter-Strike_Online
I'm sad if the wiki is correct...
Goldsrc, meaning the HL1 engine... why make a spiffy awesome trailer and keep it goldsrc?
Oh well... it still might be work some checking out.

    Just Starting on PC, L4D2

Looking for someone to get used to the PC version of this game with. Any takers? I do have experience, I know the game mechanics, strategies, etc. Just gotta get controls and what not down, and I'm gonna be doing some campaign runs to get used to it. =]

    Steam ID is RevenantBlack.

I don't want to change the world.
I just want to leave it colder.

I added you, need someone who talks through mic, feels lonely most of the games whatsoever (in PC, it's easier to text chat)
