I hated the shield at first, it was more of a pain in the ass than anything and made maps like Dust particularly hard for the Ts since the CTs could just grab a couple riot shields and stack the tunnels.

How awesome would that be. Actually being safe when hiding behind a corner or a wall instead of enemy bullets making 90 degree turns to kill you.

    Frusterated with the authoring tools

I spend almost half an hour or so writing down notes so I can learn how to use the authoring tools. And most of the maps I make won't even run. What's worse is there is no area that even helps or said anything about this. If that's not bad enough, the manual for how to use the tools could of have been better. It can get very complicated and confusing. I tried to use "info_director" to create a panic event and got nowhere with it. I consider myself a fast and dedicated learner. I'm not sure if something is wrong with the system itself but who wants to put alot of work into a map just to have it not run when you try to run it.
