Any newer WWII games coming out?

I know WWII games have become "overdone", but I'd like to see a new cutting edge WWII FPS. Perhaps Call of Duty will venture into it. WWII on source (Dod) just doesnt do it for me anymore and the battlefield series games for WWII are outdated (as are the medal of honor games. I think Activision should go ahead and make one that is similar to COD4, but with bigger maps and a style of gameplay that is not simply run-n-gun, where you can sprint through the streets pwning everyone. I'd like to see a game where it takes the entire map just to even get one win on the other team. Any takers?

I would love to see a BF1942 on a newer engine with better graphics, and 2142 perks, ranks, and setup.

I believe there are some WWII mods developed or being developed for ArmaA, also for BF2

Hmmm....
The Greatest Generation fought WWII for 3.5 years.
I have been fighting this one for about 15 years it seems. I have escorted B-17s over Berlin in my P-51, I have stormed Normandy, I have fought the Italians in their streets. I have fought the Fascists in their Panzers in the Eastern Front's snow. As a U-Boat captain, I have hunted convoys in the North Atlantic. I have faced Rommel's Afrika Corps in the Sahara. I have island hopped all across the Pacific. I have seen all of the Nazi secret weapons, and used them. I have even seen Death's Head's secret paranormal stuff, and killed it-again.
And still, yes still, I want more. I would totally be into a 1942 version of PR, for example.
WWII is magic for gamers. It was a time of all out war against determined and resourceful foes bent on nothing less than world domination. Thats hard to beat.

I'm feeling you on this one.. all the WWII games are run-n-gun and those are starting to get really old. Make a WWII games more realistic and not be a one man army or.. you have an army with you but doesn't really do anything. Hate that

They truly were the greatest generation that ever lived. Generation that saved the world.

If you havent seen it, check out the HBO mini series Band of Brothers.....great great series.
