Thread: Civilization IV Championship match.

Long games are ok with one human and X AI, but when you have 3-8 humans the odds of saving and getting everyone back together is slim.

I love long games.. I usually go large, terra, and marathon which means lots of rivals, travel, and time...

have you ever tried the user made earth map? i used to have that for Civ 4 (before i got the BtS update) kinda neat as it mimicked the world include where the countries started so if you were American or the Aztec for example it would be a long time before you met the european nations, euro nations are interesting though because tensions get high pretty quickly as you are stepping on each others boarders all the time. then in the East you get the Russia, China, Japan conflict eventually as they expand. Worth checking out sometime if you want a long map with MANY rivals.
