Titan Quest
This was brought up in another thread, but I figured I should make a new one for this game in particular.
So, for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about:
Titan Quest is an Action RPG (in other words, a Diablo 2 clone) set in mythology (has Greek, Chinese, and other myths involved) and is significantly longer than Diablo 2 (about 30-40 hours gameplay per difficulty, with 3 different difficulties, naturally). It has seemly, albeit fairly unpopulated, online gameplay, is 3D, lets you combine two different skill trees to make classes, and is overall very badass. Also, only $20 on Steam for it and the expansion (which adds 10 more levels, a new skill tree, and a 5th act that takes about 10-15 hours to complete). Overall, it's basically Diablo 2.5.
So, those of you who have it/get it, we need to get some co-op going. It's through gamespy (ug), but the low population problems can be fixed if we have some people set up right off the bat.
My xfire is in my profile, anyone who wants to hit up some mythological monsters, hit me up.
Oh, and one last thing: Spartans.

Re: Titan Quest
After playing D2:LoD for years I picked up Titan Quest thinking I would enjoy it's single player. After playing for a few hours I realized I hated Titan Quest. It just felt a poorly done D2 clone with better graphics. I never played it co-op which would probably make it a lot better. Are you playing it with the expansion pack?

Re: Titan Quest
Its a decent game... but certainly no Diablo2. It pales in comparison to the Diablo series and while it has slightly better graphics and is a bigger game.. it just doesnt have that same amount of enjoyability that Diablo seemed to have. The biggest difference is online play where Diablo and D2 would crush Titan Quest. Titan Quest seems to be more single player than co-op and without Battle.Net they are nothing.
Still... worth trying out while your waiting on D3 to be released. It can still be a blast.
