Re: Good HL2 mods?
Riot Act is one of the better single-player mods, taking place in Nova Prospekt parallel to the story of HL2. As a prisoner there, your cell door opens due to a power outage, and you fight your way free.

DIPRIP looks like some fun for light hearted gaming.
I've played zombie panic and it seems a little cumbersome... you don't run very well and it just doesn't feel like source should.
Insurgency could be interesting. Somewhere between CSS and COD4 would be cool.
IDK ill try em all and update later.

Re: Good HL2 mods?
You know, my favorite mod is totally Synergy.  We should get together a team, and try to do the whole HL2 thing.  Seems like fun!
Anyone else up for it?
(And there is also a ton of custom maps that are hard as shit.)Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
Langrad: "We're here to win, not to..."
Me: "Have fun?" "Hahaha"

Now if we could get a group of, oh, 5-8 people, we could play through the entire HL2 games.Me: "But the Gunslinger is so much more fun..."
