Good HL2 mods?

one to try would be Eternal Silence, i haven't played but in my searching at indie games it did win the award for best multi-player fps mod at the Independent games festival. And if your wondering some big games have won there including Audiosurf (before its steam release) and Narbacular Drop (never heard of it? thats because the developer were offered a contract with steam and the game ending up being made into Portal)

I love to play The Hidden when I can.
Rickover and I used to play it quite a bit. It is very fun with the lights all out, in the dark, and a good team.
