Review: Spore gives allot of freedom to the player...but lacks sometimes. Yes you can build your creature any which way you want. Give it fur or scales, 2 feet or 9, make it's eyes come out of its ass. But it also makes me feel like I have a little TOO much freedom. My decision to give the cell spikes instead of more eyes doesn't affect how my creature will look like later on, because as soon as it comes out of the water I can just get rid of them and put arms on. You don't really need to choose your look until tribal stage. Which I find disappointing because I find myself using the mouth that looks stupid but has better stats than the other...1 creature i made went through a transformation of having a ducks bill...to something that resembles a pig.......with none of those two choices impacting anything other than stats....and the stupidity of its look. There's little strategy in the placing of you arms, legs, mouth, etc. I put two horns of an Elk on the tail of my creature.....it still used its head to bash the victims. Next when entering the tribal age I found that I could no longer edit my creature......WELL POO!!!!!! I did not make that mistake a second time...by editing my creature to look good rather than have higher stats.... because those claws I got appear to be next to useless when it has a stone hammer in its hand. Well the game is good... evolving the species YOU created is lots of fun. And the game is rather...........cute. The cells do little squeals to communicate....and you make friends by dancing...and I almost felt sorry for that little baby creature trying to run away while i chase it...planning on eating it(its parents dead) and smiled a little when I gathered a group of my own and annihilated those pesky insect looking things that kept attacking me for no reason. I began teraforming my 1st planet....and epiclly failing...but I can see how changing a planet to sustain life would be fun. And during the space age I love to zoom out just to view the galaxy that I'm in.

Fun game and I will most likely spend many hours of my life wasting away conquering cells animals tribes worlds and galaxies. 4/5 Worth the money...
