Re: FIFA Soccer 09 for PC?
If you're going for graphics, a good PC rig will always beat a console, hands down, but that depends on your rig.
Personally, I've never played sports games on my PC, and really the only console sports titles I've played have been the FIFA series and NCAA Football with buddies in the same room, on the same console, so I can't comment on the online portions.

Ditto on always playing sports games on console. I tried playing one of the FIFA games (can't remember which year), but it was horrible on PC. There are just to many angles of approach, foot placement and all that makes it to hard on the PC, even with a controller. PC controllers just don't mimic the console controllers well enough yet.
My .02, even though i don't have a 360, is...get it for the 360.

actually being someone who has played 2 FIFA games on the computer my advice is get a gamepad. With those it can be pretty fun, plus for someone like me with a PS2, its easier to get online on my laptop and play then on the PS2. But i think they are good on the computer just you need a 8 button gamepad to really make it worthwhile

I have FIFA 09 for my PC and looks stunning. I wish I could say the same thing about NHL 09 for PC but I can't. FIFA looks polished and well rounded. I'd say its a title worth owning if you love soccer. Personally the game drives me nuts and kills me nerves.
