I'll let you know soy about the reserve slot.
Suggestions for next match, is continents I know you love your Terra Soy, but maybe make a 3 continent map with the 8-10 players we are getting that would be at least 2 people per continent.
Or maybe do something like high lands. That would provide a very different experience.

actually i about beat out all the forces that were sent my way, i needed just a little bit more gold (400) to upgrade my last two defenders to redcoats which would have destroyed your war efforts to take my capital.
the reason i vasseled with Civil was due to the fact i saw someone starting to stack on my borders and i needed to get to Rifling as quick as possible to get my UU and beat you guys down if you decided to attack. Which once i got it, it worked well because i think the one redcoat i was able to produce took out about 7-8 units.

Re: Jan: Civ4 Aftermath
In my opinion Civ 4 is not a game you should win within 3-4 hours, IF you are winning your opponents have made too many mistakes, civ 4 has multiple features to allow people to play games for DAYS (you can save multiplayer games and pick them back up where they were, even if it was a bunch of people vs each other and not just People vs AI or whatever, As an aside, if we wanted to play longer matches we could just do them over multiple days, have a set start/end time for each day, and if someone doesn't/can't show up we can postpone or eliminate them, then the game could play to however long it would go) Anyways while civ can end under 3 hours due to uncontrollable reasons (someone has an atrocious start and you roll them/vassalize them, you have an extraordinarily good start and your opponents are unprepared, all sorts of things can happen to tip the balance and shorten the game.
this was a kind of out of order post, I may straighten it out in the morning when I am not so tired

Sigh*
I wish I knew how to play CIV4, then I might've liked to join in on one of these games.
I keep getting my ass kicked by noble AI of all things. :5"Murder and marriage aren't too much unlike each other, one ends your life, and the other is a crime"

Yea I is confused, for instance: I wanted to create knights, and had all the appropriate techs and what not, including the horse resource. So i made a unit, I liked its stats and wanted to create more, but was unable to do so. Then i realized i had no more horse for some reason? So I traded some gold for another horse, and could only make one more knight unit. So now i don't get it. I can make as many swordsmen as i want and never run out of iron, but only make one unit of cavalry per horse resource?
