I played 20 hrs of it over the weekend, and never found Megaton city or any of the side quests people were talking about. Apparently, Megaton is North West of Vault 101 and that's what a lot of people end up doing, is head there.

I went East. I discovered so many places and got into so many fire fights with big ugly things, it felt like a Doom game with puzzles and missions. Fast paced enough to feel the rush yet slow enough to make it intriguing and worth the time spent.

Last night, I back tracked and fast tracked to the Vault so I can now explore the road North West. It's nice now having all those places to go as an asset rather than a daunting challenge.

This game is brilliantly done. Although you have a primary mission, there are so many side quests that you can do that don't effect your main goal, so you can explore as much or as little as you want, experience as much or as little of the game as you want. You're in control.

Great game. Now I'm rested, and I'm over my Rad poisoning and mentat & buffout drug addictions.

Ya I missed megaton when I first walked out...
Game is truely great, and I cant wait for the additional content to come out.

Yeah, the first place I wandered to is Springvale School...and let me tell you...bodies hanging and kids dead and shit...kinda gave me the creeps.

But at the same time, I was happy that it was just as dark as the first 2.
