    If I purchase a game via steam... to download... that's one thing. But I'll be damned if I'm going to buy a disc version... in a store... and be forced to accept steam's lock on my game. I buy games and generally hand them down to my buddies who can't afford them when I'm done with them. This one I can't. So now I have to research and find out if any game I am planning to purchase forces a user to be locked into some inflexible drm schema now before I buy it. That... is ridiculous.

    I know how you feel, I felt the same about Mirror's Edge and Far Cry 2. It's complete bullshit to punish the consumer because hackers crack the games and put them on the net. This DRM stuff isn't stopping piracy, it's only encouraging it.
