With the destructible environment, I suspect the end of most rounds will leave that pretty looking map looking like the ridge of Hamburger Hill.

A lot of dirt, and stumps, and thats it.

Well, that's 16v16. When was 16v16 fun in 2142? Maybe sometimes during a match, but normally it meant flying around, and maybe encountering an enemy. I've played the demo of 1942 (

) And it was actually pretty fun. I hope games don't go into this age where really small maps and small amounts of players with pretty graphics dominate. As much as I like those, I also like FULL scale combat, such as ArmA. 400km maps for the win!

the problem is people these days don't give a **** how good the game, as long as it looks pretty they buy it, then complain when the gameplay sucks. Like Age of Conan for example.

I love playing older games, even if they don't look great, because there is a lot with amazing game play. Hell on of my favorite games is coded for DX7
