I loved Quake 1. It will go down as one of the best and most influincial games of all time.

But Unreal Tournament was probably the most fun I ever had in a game.

UT. No Quake game has ever even come close to matching the sheer power of win that UT2k4 produces, much less any other shooter (Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Halo...)

I remember playing a lot of Duke3D and Descent before I got into Unreal and then UT99.

I'd still play UT2k4 today if there was a decent community and decent servers... TTP's got me all spoiled, expecting people to work together and use their mics and stuff.

I think I'm gonna pick up UT2k4. I can't find my DVDs and I want to play it again, so it looks like I'm gonna have to buy it on Steam to do so.

Find me on Steam if you want me to show you why UT2k4's the best shooter ever made.

    Unreal 1 the Infiltration Mod.

Went by the name Hades, and if you ever join an Infiltration server (they are still around) and ask about me..they'll know me.

Basically the mod took the Unreal engine and made real life weapons..and made it a Team Deathmatch. Unfortunately it was still a game that 1 man could make or break a team. It was a lotta fun, I still remember the exact layout to every map and all the hiding spots and secrets. I can walk through about 15 different ones in my mind.

Sigh..now I'm going to have to install Unreal and go play it again.
