I am Typing This on my Dsi. The ocr works pretty well. But the keyboard is faster. The browser is not too bad. Its a ported Opera and it makes effective use of the dual screens. Propretary audio formats are BOO! The camera is much better than expected. I would not upgrade from a Lite, but this is great and worth the extra $$$

No Guitar Hero either for the DSi or anything else that uses the GBA slots (for now, they might be able to adapt the new games to it later).
I have the original DS still, literally first gen one as I got it that Christmas. It is a great gift that I love and the only way I'd think I'd get rid of it/replace it is if my current one happens to break or something.
Sure the new DSi looks cooler and all, but for me right now, it is not worth it when my DS works perfectly fine.

I agree 100%. If you already have a DS or DS Lite, the DSi is not a good buy. But if you do not have a DS, it is well worth the extra 40 buckazoids. The lack of the GBA slot is the only drawback. Not an issue for me though. If I needed one, there are 3 DS lites and 4 GBAs at my house
