You know what I hope for Modern Warfare 2?

No stopping power, no juggernaut, and a freaking armor system. Choose from light, medium and heavy and it'll affect how fast you can move and offer more or less protection. For instance, a guy with a lmg and heavy armor can't sprint, only walk, and if not that, at least fast walk. I just think it'd make the game more enjoyable. Oh.....and nerf smgs...for the love god, a 9mm sub machine gun will not drop a guy with Kevlar that easily. .45, maybe, armor piercing, most definitely, but a not tiny caliber like that.

That's all the perks you want gone? I would've thought more need to go, but yeah they could make it a little better(I doubt they are aiming for realistic...).

take out 3x nades, and for the armor system, do it by weapon type. So there's no juggernauts with p90s and scouts with MG's.

get rid of all the kill spree shit, the dogs were one of the only things I thought w@w did well, you can kill them, unlike the chopper. Well you can kill the chopper, but it usually just ends up getting more kills that way. Being killed and not being able to do anything about it....is such a console thing. Players should have to earn kills in some way.

I don't know what COD is like on the PC, but here is my 2 cents and usual routine on the 360. It's sad really. I love to play the SP/CO.OP part of the game, finish that, then jump online. Play the shit out of MP, get to prestige level 1 done(fuck the rest), work on all the awards, get about 90%+ done, then I'm bored shitless. FRIGGIN MP is so FRIGGIN old, everyone runs around with the same FRIGGIN gun kit (P90/MP40, stopping power, steady aim/deep impact), present party included. There is no challenge left, but I don't think they will be getting rid of the perks, as they are a core part of the game and major difference from other games. What they need to do is fix the FRIGGIN spawning and throw in some distruction. That will change the game. I'm a bit bitter with this game.

OH, and the addition to the stupid FRIGGIN tanks is FRIGGIN stupid! YAY... I get to do a figure 8 or 0... LAME! I rarely complain about games so I've kept my opinion in as long as possible about this one, but this game blows after a month of playing.

At least on the 360.

I think the perks are a good part of the game, as it allows you to customize your player and playing style. Juggernaut acts like an armor system, doesn't it?
LMGers can't sprint nearly as long as a spec ops dude or move as swiftly... I believe they can only sprint for half the time.
As for the spree rewards, I also like them, and they are earned for the most part. Air strikes can be used strategically to help your team defend flags, targets, etc.

I can't really complain about the game, I think they did a good job with it. The only thing I can't stand are camping scrubs, but that is not the developers' fault... they will be around in every game, every server, for eternity.

That said, what I want for MW2 are more diverse maps and gametypes, and better hit registration. Also, a little bit more of a run n gun gamestyle would be cool, as it would lessen the motivation for those camper scrubs who sit behind a corner, or those guys that never run and always have their sights up "defending" whatever and wating for you to run into their sights.

I'm all for the airstrikes for exactly that reason, but the chopper seems like such a dumb thing to put in to me. You should never earn enough kills that you get something to kill people for you. The airstrike is a one time deal that is significantly less effective, and must be actively placed. The chopper is just fire and forget.

I know I haven't played COD4 in a while, but the chopper isn't that hard to kill from what I remember. Just grab a big LMG/HMG and it should go down. However it is still a pain since it can still kill you while you are trying to take you down and it diverts your attention from your real objective, whatever it might be.

I agree with Jakt, the game does get kinda old after a while. It's like drinking, you enjoy it at first, but then you get a massive headache and tell yourself you'll never play again. But you end up doing it anyway.

I just hope the next game is better, infinity ward is a company that builds on success, it doesn't do the same thing over and over. They may be doing a sequel, but they're refining the original game. Making it better than before, at least I hope.
