Confessions of a Flight Sim Junkie

So, while trolling through Best Buy the other day, I picked up a Saitek x52 joystick and throttle set on a whim, figuring I'd try and get back into some BF2/PR flying. However, after a few rounds, I can feel my old flight sim addiction gnawing at me. Anyone have any suggestions for some recent flight sims? And by flight sim I don't mean something like HAWX, but an honest to goodness, complex as all hell, flight sim. I played the hell out of Falcon back in the day, and dabbled a bit in MS Combat Sim, but beyond that, I've been out of the loop for a while.

What's out there, and what's worth my time?

Lock On: Modern Air Combat

Both slightly older games but still damn fun to play.

MSX is fun.

Not a combat sim, but still fun, none the less.

How's the online/multiplayer scene for those? I think I played one of the IL-2 series games for a bit back in the day, was pretty fun (for a WWII sim, anyway).
