Gamertags - Am I imagining things?

Just registered for a PSN account, got the following link

Also, after signing in and clicking the link for Cojiro's profile, I get my own profile page. Dunno what's going on with this. Guess all the horror stories I've heard about PSN might have some merit.

Nope, I don't see any way to. Like I said, clicking his profile link sends me to my own page. I'll keep fiddling with it, though.

When I click on the ones in this thread it gives me the same thing

Just saw this on another section of the PSN site.

You do not currently have friends in your list. To add friends to your list, you must use a PlayStation®3 console. To learn more about how to add friends to your friend list, visit learn more about Friend List.

How to add a friend to your Friend List from your PlayStation®3 console:

* Go to the "PlayStation®Network" icon in the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar)
* Select "Sign-In" if not already signed in
* Go to the "Friends" icon in XMB (XrossMediaBar)
* Select "Add a Friend"
* Enter the Online ID for the person you want to add
* Add a customized message to your friend (optional)
* Click "Send"

Looks like you can only add friends from within the PS3's proprietary browser.
