I have been playing this game lately and thought the xray engine did a good job, just wanted to share.

Pretty good game but...I don't know, just feels like it needs some tweaking.

You use it for detecting singularities (or anomalies, can't remember what they're called). They're basically electrical traps that are scattered around the world. Kind of annoying, it's one of the things that bothered me about that game (besides the massive amount of bugs). You end up running around an apocalyptic wasteland with, not a rifle, but a bolt in your hand most of the time, and you have to throw them around all over the place to find them.

To be fair you can see most of the anomalies, the only reason i had the bolt out is because if you run around with a gun pointing towards people they consider you a threat.

I rarely run around with the bolt.

The X-ray engine's pretty decent, but the games themselves are horrifically buggy and altogether just not that great.
