Wii Sports Resort - yes I like my gimmicky Wii games!
This comes out in a few days. I just pre-ordered it with an additional motion-plus addon. It is getting mixed reviews, but so did the original Wii Sports, and it's always good for party fun regardless!
Anybody else?

I'll be getting it, if only for the motionplus sensor. ARS Technica had a nice review of it up the other day. Their review summed up said some of the games are cool, some are awful but it really feels like a tech demo with no cohesion. That being said they recommended it for group play.

Well, the motion sensor is definitely a huge step up from the first. The 1:1 tracking is very noticeable in swordplay and frisbee, and the "repeats" of golf and bowling benefit a lot from it too. Lots of games, some fun and some not. But worth the cash overall. I haven't even tried everything yet.

That video was funny in some spots (the cycling) but was mostly annoying and in some cases wrong.
Everybody says that the new attachment just gives what we were promised 3 years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong (really), but I don't think Wii ever advertised 1:1 motion sensing 3 years ago. Just motion sensing, which they provided.
Also, you can NOT win swordplay by spazing out. My fiancee tried that and I literally beat her without a single attack. By repeatedly blocking her spaz swings, she kept getting knocked back a few inches each time until she eventually fell off the edge. She got all excited thinking she won (she was spaz swinging so hard I don't think she could even see), but I had to explain that she actually lost.
