I hope you at least throw up a barracks before then and throw out some GI's or else a rush will have you dead. Online play is fast and furious.

it really depends on the game, but clearly you need to build beyond what i stated, this is just a good path to start. If your worried about an early rush, then but the barracks up after the first refinory, but you still need a fast investmetn on credits rather than stuggeling to get everything set up slowly, then when your base is stable, adding the extra refinories.
