Rated Online RTS's?

So sorta looking for a "new" (to me anyway) RTS out there with a good community and ladder/rating system.

I used to be really hooked on Age of Conquerors back when MSN gaming zone was still going but the community barely has a pulse now on IGZones.

So, what are the options out there with GOOD multiplayer/ranking systems?

I have a feeling my only options are Warcraft3 and Starcraft?

i don't know if they are good, but i thought both Company of Heroes and World in Conflict had rankings? *shrugs*

Just looking for something that i can pretend to be "competitive" at w/ a good community...

what about non RTS but strategy games? Did a quick google and there seem to be quite a few Civilization IV ladders out there. Plus there are matches between people here at TTP ever couple month or so (usually)

Not sure about how the ranking ladder is, but Company of Heroes is AMAZING. Sins of a Solar Empire is outstanding as well. both are awesome RTS games with excellent online play
